Audiobook Casting & Production
Casting and production treatment makes or breaks the listener experience.
A narrator doesn’t just read a book — they completely embody it. They breathe life into the text for it to be experienced in an immersive, heartfelt way.
Finding that voice takes an extremely keen ear, creative instinct, empathy, and a deep knowledge of the talent pool.
I’ve spent a decade honing my experience and understand what it takes to make a successful, high-quality audiobook in today’s market. From literary fiction to major author reads, I approach every project with the same care.
A specialist service for UK & international publishers
My expertise lies in having deep, current knowledge of British voice talent and their unique dialects – from RP and Estuary in the South, to Mancunian and Geordie in the North.
For US and international publishers producing UK-set titles — whether that’s London-set crime fiction, historical drama, literary fiction rooted in the English countryside or political satire — I know the narrators, the accents, the pronunciations, the regional nuances, and the voices that resonate with English and international audiences.
If your team doesn’t have that knowledge in-house, I’m the person you can reach out to.

Want to create blog posts showcasing your latest audiobooks & how they were created? Whether you’d like a Q&A from a narrator for marketing or an in-depth BTS peek into production, I can help.
I share your goal of producing high-quality audiobooks without fuss.
Step 1 → get in touch
Drop me a message with any information about the type of support you’re looking for. No need to have everything figured out at this stage, but if you’re reaching out with a specific title, key info such as title, pub dates, word count, timelines and brief casting thoughts would be great to include at this stage.
Step 4 → casting/production begins
You share the manuscript, any brand or style guidance, and your brief, as agreed with the author. I get to work — researching, sourcing, and shortlisting voices for your review.
The Process
Step 2 → discovery call
We'll schedule a short call (via Zoom or telephone) to talk through the project — your vision, your audience, and any specific requirements. This is where I can understand the needs of your project, how processes work within your publishing house, and ask questions.
Step 5 → review
I present a shortlist of narrators within your timeframe, with demos for your review. We refine until you're confident in the choice, then I handle all agent and studio liaison from there, plus marketing asset creation if specified.
Step 3 → proposal & agreement
I'll send across a project proposal with scope, timeline, and rate within 48 hours. Once agreed, we'll sign a simple agreement and confirm next steps, including onboarding (often required for monthly retainers)
Step 6 → project close
I'll invoice for work completed at the end of the project or month — whichever we've agreed.
